Can used engine oil be used fore diesel fuel?

Yes it can, my father ran a very old (million mile kenny) kenworth truck on it. It smoked, belched etc. but ran. I would filter the do dog devil out of it first. and then mix it, cummins and other have "max allowed" recommendations..
