You heard a noise in the back of your car sounding like backfiring?

you have a bad fuel/air mixure, usually caused by a timing issue. ie.. the timing of the combustion is retard in one way or another causing left over fuel that doesnt combust when its supposed therefor it builds up post combustion and will explode in your exhaust
