Is sanaa lathan straight or lesbian?

It's not really possible to say whether someone does or doesn't fit into these categories. People change their minds, or their inclinations at different times throughout their lives, and sometimes choose not to make their proclivities public. It is also quite limiting to define people in terms of their tendencies.
