Why zebra is not found in India?

Certain species evolved in certain regions on our planet due to various factors such as :

whether the animal can find food, survive living with the region's predators and reproduce fast enough to survive. There are no wild horse breeds in India and no zebras, the climate, natural habitat and local eco systems simply do not support that kind of animal.
