What is a split chicken breast?

You can cook them many different ways, but start by thawing them in the refrigerator overnight. Then put a small amount of oil in a pan and heat it to medium/high heat. Place the breasts in the pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Turn then when you see the meat is turning white about half way up the side. Salt and pepper this side and continue cooking until the breasts are white all the way through. This is the simplest way, but there are hundreds of recipes for different flavorings and cooking methods including poaching, roasting, baking, and sauteing chicken breasts.
