Phone conversation strength and weakness

Phone conversations with potential employers can have strengths and weaknesses. A weakness is that they do not provide as much listener feedback as when talking in person. No body language takes place to interpret, either. A strength of the phone conversation is for people who find talking in person intimidating. Also the applicant is not as worried about clothing and hair when talking over the phone.
