How are candy gummi made?

First a liquid candy is made. Then a metal mold presses holes in trays of corn starch. The liquid candy in poured into the holes. It's allowed to set for a day or two. The candy solidifies into a gummy. Then the tray is dumped and the corn starch is cleaned off the candy.
