How many babies can a kookaburra have?

A kookaburra typically lays between 2 to 4 eggs per breeding season. The eggs are incubated for about 24 days before hatching. Both parents help care for the chicks, which fledge about 5 to 6 weeks after hatching. In some cases, older siblings may assist in raising the younger chicks.
