Did Sasuke summon an eagle

If you mean Sasuke Uchiha, then no, that was simply just a drawing of Sasuke on an eagle in the first manga chapter. Really he summons giant snakes from learning from his teacher, Orochimaru.

No disrespects to whomever wrote this, but that's wrong. Kishi designed Sasuke as all about an Eagle, and he will eventually summon Eagles as his ability. He does inherit Orochimaru's Snak Summons, but after the whole Itachi bit, he ditches his old team name of "Hebi" (Snake), and calls his team "Taka" (Hawk). Later on, he's shown as having summoned an Eagle in battle against his opponant (Unnamed for Spoiler reasons)
