Should kids under 13 have cell phones?

• Yes because those are the beginning years of a soon to be very socializing teenager.

• As a Father I would disagree with the above answer she can socialize at school. If she wants a cell phone get her one that can call you and emergency numbers only. Anyone else she wants to talk to she can use your household phone.

I am a 12 year old girl and i think you should get your daughter a phone. Maybe a simple slide if she wants to text, Basic phones kinda suck. So get her a cheap Virgin mobile slide for like 40 bucks and unlimited web, text and 300 min for 25 bucks a month. pretty good deal.

I am 13 and i agree with you! Maybe get AA older model of a popular phone, such as the iphone 3GS wich is free on a 3 yr contract. Teens need to socialize :D lol
