Should you give your child a spanking?

yes you should,pull down there pants and spank them. Depends what they did if its really big yes spank them, if its something little lock them in there room for 5 minutes *Another Awnser
yes an over the knee would do just fine and if they still need to be punished and are acting like a baby they should be treated like one and need a diaper for a day and that will show them.

i would say yes. I was spanked maybe six times in my childhood, and I turned out ok. Always over the knee, and depending on what they did, swat them firmly so it stings a little on their rump. But if they are screaming at you, and kicking your thighs, i would get them off of your lap, have them reach for their toes, and pull their pants (but not underwear) down and spank them. If they still don;t listen, get a new punishment.
