What is the Difference between adjectives and antonyms?

AAdjectives describe a noun e.g. 'The red coat' . 'Red' is the adjective.

Antonyms describe Words of opposite meaning e.g. 'The green coat' . 'Green is the antonyms of 'red'. Both colours are adjectives of coat.
