You are a guy and you were thinking about getting earings however you need to take them out 2hrs everyday for bball practice will the hole close up?

Well before getting anything pierced I would talk to your Base/Basketball coach and find out if the jewellery can be left in the piercings. New piercings will not tolerate being removed and replaced everyday when they are trying to heal. There needs to be some way around the earring issue with Baseball practice.

Removing the jewellery will lead to the formation of scar tissue (this is something you don't want to have happen). Piercings take a full year to properly heal and *season up (*toughen to allow the jewellery to be easily removed and replaced without issues with infection).

If you get told that they can't see there way around this policy, then I would wait until baseball season is over before getting the piercing done. Don't anything else would lead to issues with infection and healing.
