In Kingdom Hearts how do you get the book from Cid for Merlin?

In Kingdom Hearts, to get the book from Cid for Merlin, you first need to visit the Hades Cup in the Coliseum and defeat the enemies there. After that, return to Traverse Town and speak with Cid in the shop. He will give you the book to take back to Merlin, who can then use it to help you with your quest.
