Laura Dekker's sailing trip ended in Simpson Bay, Sint Maarten, in January 2012. She completed her journey around the world at the age of 16, making her the youngest person to sail solo circumnavigating the globe. Her adventure lasted over 500 days and covered approximately 27,000 nautical miles.
