Where do you get Tax Form 1099?

If you are wanting to fill out a 1099 you can get them at www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1099msc.pdf. If you think you should be receiving one then you may get them for contract labor or miscellaneous income. Dollar amounts play into whether a 1099 is needed.

A form 1099 would be received at the end of the tax year if you have worked under contract and earned more than $600. This form will be mailed to you by the person that paid you.
