Yes reggaeton is dying in the U.S. because Reggaeton artists are 99.9% Puerto Ricans and they dont want to give a piece of the pie, in other Words they are greedy and they just stick to themselves. For example some Reggaeton artists include (Daddy Yankee, Wisin y Yandel, Jowel y Randy, Zion y Lennox, all PUERTO RICANS) they are only a few of main ones and they are greedy they dont want to help new upcoming artist from other countries, anyways what was the newest reggaeton song you have heard? they are all oldschool

No it's not!

&it would never be.

In fact, many people [blacks gringos] love Reggaeton.

Why?

Because of the rhythm. It makes you want to dance.

The rhythm has a carribean beat to it, which is nice and a lot of people in the U.S love it especially the puerto ricans we listen to it a lot.
