if its a 9c1 or ex cop car you really dont want to remove any speed limiter because its not about keeping you from high speeds its protecting your engine from high rpms. a speed limiter works by cutting of gas at rpm redline. in civilian cars its around 100 mph and only for speed but for cop cars its about saving your engine. limiter usually kicks in at 5500 rpm or 154 mph ( tires are usually only rated at 130 mph so you really dont want to go faster or tires will blow ending in your demise) plus if you take off the limiter on an ex cop car you really arent gonna go any faster so its not worth the money it would cost for the programmer you would have to get new tires, a new tranny and bank account full of money to fight the reckless driving and attempted manslaughter charges for going 150 mph or roughly 100 mph over the speed limit! sorry speed racer. lol
