Are striped bass native or introduced?

Both. A species native to the Atlantic Ocean, they run up freshwater rivers to spawn. They can live in freshwater, so they were introduced to many freshwater lakes. Smith Mountain Va, Badin, High Rock, Tuckertown, Norman, Tillery, and Buggs Island lakes in NC, Santee Cooper chain of lakes in SC, and many others.
