What do the various color birds on Angry Birds do?

Red, the Red Bird doesn't do anything but shout. However, in the episode Red's Mighty Feathers, he flies to the point where the screen was tapped.

Jay, Jake & Jim, the Blue Birds are shown as one but split up to 3.

Chuck, the Yellow Bird accelerates.

Matilda, the White Bird lays an egg bomb right below where they are tapped.

Bomb, the Black Bird explode a few seconds after they hit something or if you tap them. In the episode Short Fuse, he blows up into shockwave, electrocuting all pigs in the range that hasn't been popped already.

Terence, the Big Red Bird does nothing but grunt like Red but can cause more damage.

Hal, the Green Bird performs a u-turn in mid-air.

Bubbles, the Orange Bird blows up into a gigantic balloon-shape that deflates by flying around.

Stella, the Pink Bird uses her bubbles to life things up, then pop them. In Angry Birds Stella, she ricochets from a surface, pushing it a little and then crashes on to another structure.

The Sardines summon the Mighty Eagle that pops all pigs on the level.

The Mighty Eagle wipes out all pigs on the level, creates an earthquake and does little damage to the terrain as well.

Tony, the Blue Terence is exclusive to Angry Birds Seasons and will dive down while creating a little earthquake.

Poppy, exclusive to Angry Birds Stella dives down and does little damage once touching the ground

Luca, exclusive to Angry Birds Stella shouts really loud that it shatters glass and damages wood. It does not work on indestructible objects or stone. It also does not work on pigs, at is only passes through them.

Willow, exclusive to Angry Birds Stella spins into a whirlpool at the spot and goes straight forward unless she touches blocks. That will alter her course.

Dahlia, exclusive to Angry Birds Stella rapidly teleports and does a little "spin" that is supposed to imitate a "Kung-Fu" attack stance.

Gale, exclusive to Angry Birds Stella is an antagonist but she is attracted to gold. If you paint some blocks with gold paint, she will dive down out of nowhere doing minor damage to the level.

A Minion Pig, exclusive to a Pig Days level in Angry Birds Seasons will do nothing. That level is the only level that makes sense with a pig at the sling since the target is to destroy all the weapons. And one fun fact is that when hurt, pigs drop feathers like birds.

The Red Koi Fish summons the Mighty Dragon that pops all pigs.

Mighty Dragon, exclusive to one episode of Angry Birds Seasons, will act like the Mighty Eagle but will fly at a curved trajectory, still popping all pigs.

Ice Bird, exclusive to Angry Birds Space will freeze all nearby blocks and pigs, while destroying all iron rods or TNT crates.

Red, the Red Bird gets an ability in Angry Birds 2, where he can shout to topple towers.

Silver, the Silver Bird is exclusive to Angry Birds 2, as she loops in the air and comes crashing down.

Space Egg, the Egg in Angry Birds Space creates a wormhole that sucks or pushes nearby items.

Minion Pig, exclusive to King Pig mode does the same as Red but instead of shouting, he squeals

Small Pigs, exclusive to King Pig mode does the same as the Blues

Jetpack Pig, exclusive to King Pig mode does the same as Chuck

Corporal Pig, exclusive to King Pig mode does the same as Bomb

Bowling Pig, exclusive to King Pig modes does the same as Matilda but instead of dropping an egg bomb, he drops an explosive bowling ball.

Fake Bird Costume Pig, exclusive to King Pig mode does the same as Hal.

Fat Pig, exclusive to King Pig mode does the same as Terence but instead of grunting, he squeals.

Balloon Pig, exclusive to King Pig mode does the same as Bubbles.

Female Pig, exclusive to King Pig mode does the same as Stella.

Note that Angry Birds Stella is discontinued and now you cannot play as Stella with her second ability, Poppy, Luca, Willow and Dahlia. Gale is an exception since she also appears in Angry Birds POP!. However, the game is a bubble-shooter game. However, you can not use her former ability.

All characters excluding Bomb, Bubbles, Stella, Gale, Minion Pig in AB Seasons Pig Days, Ice Bird, Space Egg, Corporal Pig, Sardines, Red Koi Fish, Mighty Eagle, Mighty Dragon, Corporal Pig, Balloon Pig and Female Pig should be tapped while airborne or else, the power will not activate.
