Mercedes Benz 2000 320clk top is down the hydraulic is broke and I can't get the top lid up to go into the top bin to replace the hydraulic?

Included with your car is a tool used for these occasions It has an Allen wrench on one end and an open ended wrench on the other. To release the top deck, feel down between the backs of the rear seats, just in front of the deck lid. Insert the open end part of the tool on the shaft you can feel and move the tool clockwise. This will release the deck lid. Lift the lid to full height, and lift the top up and out of the compartment it is in. This part is easier with two people, but it is possible with one. Continue lifting the top until it contacts the windshield top and latch it. Pick up the rear of the top and push the deck lid into closed position and latch it with a firm push. Push the top window down and also latch it with a firm push. Open the trunk and remove the screen covering the area where the top would be if down. Remove the carpet, and remove about a million screws to get the metal piece off of the hydraulics. The module on the right that you see is the control box for the top and it also controls the headrest extension in a crash. The hydraulics themselves are in front of you. Good Luck!
