Is there a super Paper Mario 2?

EDIT - Actually, some of the developing team from Mario Sunshine have hinted that they would love to create a Sunshine 2 for the Wii U, whether that is going to happen is unknown at this time, but seeing how they have been reviving old games recently and made a sequel to Galaxy, it could be possible.

Sorry, no Sunshine 2.' actually, Super Mario Sunshine was probably a sequel to Luigi's Mansion, because in Sirena/ Serena Beach, a Pianta in the hotel said "I wish someone with a vaccuum would come and suck up these ghosts. What? Why are you staring at me like that?" If Super Mario Sunshine was a sequel to SM64, the Pianta wouldn't have said that. Super Mario Galaxy is, presumably due to the lack of sequel pointers, a lone game, no prequels. And who knows, Nintendo may just make a Super Mario Sunshine 2. But there may be a chance but it wont have the same name but Il Piantisimo will be back with the magic paint brush he found!
