Tortera is grass and ground type right so it can beat Infernape?

Of course it will because if Torterra uses a ground type move on Infernape that most effective move possible done will keep Torterra thriving and ALIVE!!! (like Earthquake OH NO WE ARE HAVING AN EARTHQUAKE lol) :)

Yes. But it's kinda risky facing an Infernape with a Torterra because Fire type moves are still very powerful against it.
