How fast can a gaur run?

A gaur, also known as the Indian bison, can run at speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour (about 25 miles per hour) for short distances. Despite their large size, they are surprisingly agile and can navigate through dense forests and rugged terrain quickly when necessary. Their speed helps them evade predators in their natural habitat.
