Why is Albuterol not used on people with chf?

Albuterol is a bronchodilator that can cause increased heart rate and blood pressure, which may exacerbate symptoms in individuals with congestive heart failure (CHF). In CHF patients, the heart's ability to pump effectively is compromised, and the added stress from albuterol can lead to worsening heart function and fluid retention. Additionally, the medication can stimulate the sympathetic nervous system, potentially triggering arrhythmias in susceptible individuals. Therefore, its use is generally avoided in this population.
