How do you change the oil filter in a Subaru Legacy?

In a 2005 you will need to drain the oil in the oil pan 1st. (oviously) they there is a panel underneath the car that sais "oil filter". remove panel, and turn filter to the left ( if u are lying on your back). IF you cant get filter to turn auto stores have a little metal ring that hooks up to a socket for better grip. IF all else fails get out the trusty scewdriver and hammer !!
