What is nn100 system?

NN100 is a fire suppression system. It consists of one or more tanks of IG-100 (Nitrogen) gas and a releasing system to automatically or manually trigger the release of the gas into the room.

It works by flooding a room with IG-100 (Nitrogen) gas to the point where the percentage of oxygen in the room air is reduced below the level required to sustain a fire, but not so low as to endanger human occupants in the space.
