Can you jumpstart a Mercedes e320?

Even though the battery for the Mercedes e320 is located under the back seat of the car, you jump start the car from under the hood like all other cars. On the driver side above the wheel there is a metal post. Beside that post you will find a small black box that has a red symbol on it. Flip the lid and you will see a positive post for the jumper cables. Connect your red jumper cable to this post. The black jumper cable will be connected to a post that you will see is welded right to the body of the car. Once this process has been done, jump starting is done like any other car.
