What is sicritin used for?

Sicritin, also known as scopolamine, is primarily used as an anticholinergic medication to prevent nausea and motion sickness. It is often administered as a transdermal patch for managing symptoms associated with postoperative nausea and vomiting. Additionally, it can be used to treat certain types of muscle spasms and to alleviate symptoms in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
