How are stories put together?

A story either can be wrote by writing it by movie, writing it by typewriter o writing it by movie on the web.

Like this one:

Once upon a time, a little 7 year old named Monty. He loved Halloween, and one Halloween, he was Spongebob. He wanted to be Yoshi, but he was not for sale. Monty was fine, but not very fine. He was only 5% fine about that. His brain was thinking when it was barely bought "Hey, this costume could make people laugh instead of scared!" And he showed his Dad the shirt, and boots. Tyson showed Dad, his pants, and shirt. He think even the helmet. The end

I made a good story, huh?
