What happened to Neil Peart's wife?

Neil Peart's wife, Carrie Nuttall, faced a tragic loss when their daughter, Olivia, passed away in 1997. Following this, Peart and Nuttall married in 2000. In 2015, Peart's wife was diagnosed with cancer, which she battled privately. Sadly, she passed away in early 2021, shortly before Peart himself died from brain cancer later that same year.
