What was the Hamiliton Plan and why did it create such hostility in the United States?

Alexander Hamilton created a financial plan which proposed to pay off the countryâ??s debt from the proceeds of sold security bonds to the wealthy elite. Hamilton also proposed the idea of a centralized bank to create and monitor currency transactions. This angered many because Hamiltonâ??s idea seemed to support the wealthy elite more so than overall population.
