How do I restring a Ryobi gas trimmer?

To restring a Ryobi gas trimmer, first remove the spool from the trimmer head. Cut a length of new trimmer line, usually around 10 feet, and insert one end into the hole in the spool. Wind the line evenly and tightly around the spool in the direction indicated on the spool. Leave a few inches of line unwound, then thread the line through the eyelet on the trimmer head. Reattach the spool to the trimmer head and trim any excess line.
