Which is the best stain?

It all depends in which project you are involved and which surface you are staining, if you are doing the outside of the house, Latex Solid Stain Woodscape Sherwin Williams it is a good optional, they can tint any color and the warranty on the product it is pretty good, but if you are staining a handrail, furniture or even a wood work you can use Minwax, there are many tone of colors for you to choose from, if you are staining a deck I highly recommend Cabot Stain, to me it is the best especially when applied on surfaces with lot traffic.
