Tough question.
But it should be answered.
There are various methods they use to make songs. Day Tripper was a song that was made from pressure of making a song. George made, "Here Comes The Sun" when he was visiting Eric Clapton in his English garden. Ringo made his song, "Octopus's Garden" when the chef got his order wrong and told him that the octopus came from the shade under the sea.
Like John had said, "Song writing is about getting the demon out of me. It's like being possessed. You try to go to sleep, but the song won't let you. So you have to get up and make it into something, and then you're allowed to sleep."
They usually write their songs after they hear someone say something that catches their ear. (Ringo's "A Hard Day's Night" saying) Or when they hear the medley in their head and then write the lyrics, like Yesterday.
