Do the two independent senators vote Democrat or Republican?

Are you talking about how they will vote on the floor of the senate as members? They will vote, we hope, according to their conscience and good judgement, as all of the senators supposedly do. The fact that many votes closely follow party lines is not because of any requirement. Loyalty to a party is the reason many senators vote along party lines; perhaps this is too strong a reason and too often relied upon.
