Typically, the Queen is known for loving Corgis and horses.
There are also a few animals which have special "Royal Protection" status applied to them. Which means if you deliberately hurt one, you'll be summoned to jail by the Royalty.
(Since the British courts are owned by the Royalty [hence the name, "Crown" Court], Royalty can summon you directly to jail without a judge's verdict).
Some Royally protected animals are:
- Swans
- Large aquatic life such as whales and dolphins
- Deer (especially fawns)
- Horses
- Rare animals (both wild and in zoos)
- Etc
The serving British Monarch is also the patron to the RSPCA (Royal Society for Protection against Cruelty to Animals). The current patron is Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen also supports a wide range of animal charities, both national and international. It's well know that the Queen is a lover of all animals.
