Are you familiar with how to ride a bike (as in Schwin, not Harley)? Sorry but I couldn't help myself. I assume that your State has not suspended your license or you wouldn't need to ask this question. More than likely your current insurance will either go up drastically or they may cancel your insurance. Have heart though. It is possible that your insurance company does not even know of your point situation. Insurance companies have to pay to obtain a copy of drivers license records and you can imagine that pulling every driver on every policy costs a great deal of money, right. For this reason, insurance companies randomly pull records, and pull those of drivers they suspect may have changed. This means, some people may go years without having their record pulled. Your insurance company will not tell you this and why should they. It just an economic fact. Now if you give them reasons to look they will pay to pull your record. They look for reasons like claims, slow payments, young drivers, divorces, changing vehicles to more risky types, etc. If you keep the same vehicles, pay on time, and don't have accidents, you will only risk the random pulls which can happen but not nearly as likely. If you are cancelled or your rates go up a good bit, shop. There are companies for every situation and some companies penalize you more than others for points on your record. Most companies only look at three year driving history. Be good and it will get better.
