What are the biggest threats to the Caracals' existence?

Humans are the primary threat to the caracals' existence, but leopards are known to kill them. Some bush tribes consider their meat to be a delicacy. Habitat destruction caused by agriculture and desertification is a threat in west, central, north, and northeast Africa.
