Why does my Female dog have a fever after giving birth?

Probably because she is going threw alot of stress right now and you should just leave her alone.

2nd Answer:

Normal temp. is 101 - 102. If she has a temperature, take her to your Veterinarian to be checked out. It is NOT normal for her to have a temperature after whelping. Take her to your Vet immediately. She could have mastitis, infection of the uterus or a dead retained pup inside of her that is breaking down and causing a huge infection.
