How do you remove the door panels on a 2000 Civic Si?

99-00 door panel removal.easy, there is a screw holding in the plastic where the door handle is, take that out and disconnect the plug from the lock switch. Next, the is a screw holding the plastic where the window operating switches are, the srew is in the deep area that you usually grab to shut the door from the inside, so take that screw out, the plastic needs to be popped out and slid out(towards the back of the car), then disconnect the plug running the window switches. Next pull the speaker cover back, there are three deep holes, with screws in them, and take those out, also take the speaker out because there are two wires connected that are running power to the speaker. Last, there are a miscellaneous plastic clips holding the panein place running along the outside edges(on the backside of the panel) those will all pop right out with a little force, now everything should be loose, so slide the panel back and up, simultaneously, and it should come right out.

Now, when putting the panel back you should hook the windos switches up, with the plug that you pulled, and roll the window down, and there is a tweeter(the small speaker that's sitting right above the rigth side where the door panel was) that whole plastic piece will pop right out.

the whole job is quick, fairly easy, and only uses a Phillips head screw driver.
