Why doesnt' Tim Hortons accept debit?

They do now actually- As of Tuesday, November 23, 2010, Over 90% of Tim Horton's restaurants across Canada accept a debit card as a method of payment. One of the reasons why Tim Hortons hesitated in the past is fear of it slowing down the service, as a debit card is a longer method of payment (over a minute).
