On a 1997 f 250 how do you reset the abs light so it turns off?

If the cause of the light has been repaired, the light should go off after the system performs its "self-test". If it is still on, disconnecting the battery for at least 15 seconds should reset the computer. Otherwise, there is probably still a problem in the system.
