How do you know if you need a new prop shaft?

The shaft itself rarely needs to be replaced, but it is often cheaper to replace than repair.

The only thing that requiresreplacement of the shaft is if the shaft itself is bent or damaged.

Joints, slip yokes and such can be changed.
