People do not really worship the dead, they worship what was in the dead, which is something they called "spirit." They believe that something invisible makes the person what he or she was before death. For they know that the carcass of the dead person stays with them, and that is why they address the invisible part of the person. For example, the priests believe that a king is a chosen person by his god or gods. Therefore, since they think that that god lives in the king while he is alive to steal everyone's lands through war, which the priest considers an accomplishment, then when the king dies, the priest makes the king a god, defining and attesting that a superior invisible villain was using the body of a mortal, then that makes the body "holy", like a holy vessel. In reality, the god is a bacteria vermin like microbe from roaches, flees, lice, or some other bloodless beings that have been using the king to satisfy its need for blood. Insects are bloodless creatures that demand blood sacrifice because they have to play the part of gods and goddesses and terrorize our species. That is truly pathetic. Those disease carriers brought us to our knees and made us pray to them for everything.
