What is the function of the beauty?

To give someone an impression and fill the individual with confidence which may be a good thing ( e.g. making them more out going and happy with life) or in a bad way (being too self absorbed and worried about status above others) however it is a determination on somebodies personality, promoting themselves to others, and in the case of models (who aren't always beautiful) can supply a target for others to achieve and work for in a positive way. A negative out come would be an eating disorder or depression.
