Can backhoe get stuck

Short answer--yes.

I swamped mine today at work...it's up to the frame in mud and won't budge even using the backhoe and loader bucket to "crawl" out. I made it about 50 feet using that method and it just kept sinking. I left it for the night hoping the ground will freeze enough to free it later. So yes, they definitely can get stuck.
