Of course, listing every single song 3DN did would be a large task, so I can list the "hits", i.e., the ones they released that most all of their fans know well.

It's important to note that some songs had all 3 of the vocalists sharing lead vocal duties, or singing in 2-part or 3-part harmony virtually throughout.

Cory Wells sang the lead vocal on "Mama Told Me (Not To Come)" (written by Randy Newman); "Eli's Coming" (written by Laura Nyro, who also wrote "Stoned Soul Picnic" for The 5th Dimension), "Shambala", "Play Something Sweet (a/k/a/ Brickyard Blues)" (written by New Orleans' songwriter Allen Toussaint), "Sure As I'm Sittin' Here" (written by John Hiatt), "Let Me Serenade You", "Never Been To Spain" (another Hoyt Axton song), "Try A Little Tenderness" (a song from 1933, mainly popularized in 1966 by Otis Redding), and "Nobody", their first "hit".

Chuck Negron sang the lead vocal on "Pieces of April" (written by Dave Loggins), "One" (written by Harry Nilsson), "Easy To Be Hard" (from the Broadway hit "Hair), "Joy To The World" (a/k/a Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog - written by Hoyt Axton), "Til The World Ends" (also written by Dave Loggins & their last Top 40 hit in 1975), "Just An Old-Fashioned Love Song" (written by the famous & vertically-challenged tunesmith Paul Williams), "The Show Must Go On" (written by Leo Sayer). Chuck is a cousin of the character actor Taylor Negron.

Danny Hutton didn't sing much lead, but he did sing the lead vocal on "Black & White", "Your Song" (the Elton John cover), & "Liar" (written by Argent's Russ Ballard).

On "One Man Band", Chuck Negron sang the main/melody vocal with Danny Hutton singing harmony with him on the 2 verses, then on the break after the solo, Chuck starts out by himself before being joined in by the others.

On "Out In The Country", they all sing the melody together without harmony in a "gang-singing" style, but done smoothly as their vocals blended together well enough to almost sound like 1 person singing.

On "Celebrate", Danny does verse 1, Chuck does verse 2 right after him, then a chorus is sung, then Cory does verse 3.

On "Family Of Man", once again, Danny does verse 1, Chuck does verse 2, and Cory does verse 3. On this one, they all sing the melody part of the 1st line on the "so hard" bridge part, then deflect into a 3-part harmony, back & forth during the bridge.

They had three #1 Top 40 hits & each vocalist got to sing one each - "Black & White", "Joy To The World", and "Mama Told Me (Not To Come)"
