What genre is Shiver by Maggie Stiefvator?

The theme of the book shiver is never give up on what you believe in. At first when Grace and Sam first meet, Grace would spend every night sitting out on her porch waiting to see if "her" wolf (Sam) would come to the front of the woods so he could see her too. She would want to try and figure out where and why she would see him. Also when Sam gets shot in the woods as a wolf, he ran back to graces house because he new she would recognize him and take care of his wound, which she did. After a couple of days of being a human, Sam realizes that being with Grace as a human made him feel himself. He struggles and fights the cold to try and stay human so he could be with Grace forever. Sam also struggles because this is his last year switching from a Werewolf to a human, but he feels like being half werewolf is apart of his life.
