Fleance is the name of Banquo's son in the play "Macbeth" by William Shakespeare (Baptized April 26, 1564 - April 23, 1616).

Specifically, Fleance survives the attempt on his life and that of his father Banquo in Act III Scene III of the play. According to legend, he makes it across the border with England and travels southwards all the way to Wales. There, he marries into the Welsh royal family and becomes the ancestor of the Stuart kings of England and Scotland.
